The company was founded originally as Ilyushin Software in 2011. From humble beginnings, the team started developing a few Android games. With the moderate success of Bubble Paradise, a decision was made to seek funding for a new games development and the creation of a bigger team.

Aratinga Studios was born in 2014 as the result of the incorporation of new investors into the company. Now the studio is focused in cross-platform mobile games development.
